Trip to Peru is different from other destinations because there are some unique and amazing places in Peru. Travelers will not found such kind of places on the earth. Peru is a country of history, culture beauty and adventure. The ancient Inca city of Machu Picchu is known worldwide and probably it is the second destination after Amazon Rain Forest in South America. Here you can make a boat trip on the world’s height lake, look out over one of the deepest canyons in the world, try their luck sandboarding in the dunes, hike in the Andes, fish for piranha in the Amazon  can be main thing to do and explore the mysteries of the Nazca lines, walk through ancient ruins in the Sacred Valley also very popular and interesting. People who like countries to visit should make a trip to Peru.

The majestic Inca City of Machu Picchu is one of the most dramatic settings of a ruined city anywhere in the world which is 300 meters above the Urubamba River. Hiram Bingham came Machu Picchu in 1911 and he believed that it was the “Lost City of the Incas,” first documented by Spanish soldiers in the 1500s. Historians believe the real lost city of the Incas was at Espíritu Pampa. You can reach this place by train or hiking the Inca Trail. If you make trip to Peru you shouldn’t miss this place

2. Trip to Peru is more enjoyable for Inca Trail:

It takes four days hike that terminates at Machu Picchu and is regarded by many as the highlight of their trip to Peru. This scenic place is always over crowded in all season. There are a pair of starting points for the Inca travel but the traditional four-day hike begins at km 82 of the Cusco – Aguas Calientes rail line. The trail passes more than 30 Inca ruins and traverses through some spectacular scenery around the mountain. The second hike is more difficult at 1200 meters. The hike should be done with an agency and reservation should be booked in advanced.



3. Nazca Lines:

These lines are more mysterious. The lines are unusual that will leave visitors with a sense of awe. Huge images on the desert floor were relatively undiscovered until planes flying over the area in 1920. Pilot  saw the lines from the air and realized they formed distinct patterns and images. Before that there was some recognition of the hillside drawings near Nazca and Paracas, that can be seen from ground level. The huge drawings on the flat desert floor are so large that it requires an aerial view to be appreciated clearly.

From the sky travelers can see 70 different plant and animal drawings as well as hundreds of lines and other geometrical shapes. Some lines stretch as long as 10 kilometers, and they are spread over hundreds of square kilometers.  A lizard measuring 180 meters long, a condor with a 130-meter wingspan, and several others that include a monkey, hummingbird, killer whale, and spider are most notable for the figure. It is uknown exactly who created the lines or how and why, theories hold that the lines were the product of the Paracas and Nazca cultures sometime between 900 BC and AD 600; there is no clear idea among the historians. Someone believed that  the lines were one kind of astronomical calendar for agriculture, Other say that an alien landing pad, a running track, walkways joining ceremonial sites.

4. Huacachina:

The oasis resort of Huacachina on the outskirts of Ica is a popular sporting destination in Peru. This place is picture-perfect, palm-fringed, situated west of Ica, surrounded by huge sand dunes, some of which reach 1,000 meters in height. People come here to try out the sport of sandboarding. The town has a year-round sunny and dry climate.

5. Lake Titicaca:

 Lake Titicaca’s blue water is surrounded by rolling hills and traditional small villages that offer a mix of beautiful scenery and culture that sets it apart from other regions of Peru. Lake Titicaca is known for being the highest navigable lake in the world about 3,820 meters above sea level. Inspite of this it is an extraordinarily scenic area where visitors can relax and enjoy some tranquility. The Uros Floating Islands is the main tourists attraction that sustain small communities of Uros Indians. These are man made islands.  Puno is the nearest city and there is good accommodations for travelers.

6.Sacred Valley:

This valley is very fertile. It has many Inca ruins worth exploring and it is also a peaceful area to spend some time wandering through markets or soaking up local culture. The Pisac Ruins, the Sunday Market in Pisac, and the ruins and fortress at the beautiful little town of Ollantaytambo are main attractions and things to do in the valley.

7.Lima’s Plaza:

Best pleasant place in Lima is the main square, Plaza de Armas, in the heart of the city’s historic district. UNESCO has decleared most of the buildings on the square as World Heritage Site. Many of the buildings were rebuilt following the devastating earthquake of 1746.

8.Colca Canyon:

It was thought that Colca Canyon is the deepest canyon in the world, Colca Canyon, twice as deep as the Grand Canyon but now it is the second deepest after nearby Cotahuasi Canyon. The canyon is 3,400 meters deepth. This place  has been inhabited for thousands of years and was home to the Collagua, Cabana, and eventually the Inca peoples.

9. Ballestas Islands:

This place is about 200 kilometers south of Lima. It is home to hundreds of thousands of birds, large colonies of sea lions, pelicans, penguins, and dolphins. Boat tours is the main tourists attractions in this place. This tour takes generally a half-day trip, returning around noon. Travelers make a trip to Peru because of these islands

10. Historical City Center:

Arequipa is 2300 meters high and one of the most beautiful city in Peru. Background of the city is snow caped mountain and Unesco has declared this city as a World Heritage Site. Main attraction of this city is he old architecture constructed of sillar stone, a volcanic rock that radiates a bright color in the sunlight. Every year millions of travelers come this city to enjoy unique beauty. The accommodation system of this city is very good.
